A Worcester baluster vase and a cover
Circa 1758
Painted by James Rogers with an owl perched in a tree being mobbed by various birds in a tree strewn landscape, the reverse with birds in flight, the cover with a bud finial with similar decoration (the vase with some scratches and pitting to the glaze, the cover with a restored and a repaired rim chip, some chipping to the finial)
The vase 6 5/8 in. (16.8 cm.) high
7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) high overall (2)
