A Spode flared cylindrical spill vase
Circa 1815, iron-red pattern no. 1166
Painted with two large bouquets of flowers against a blue and gilt scale ground reserved at the sides with two gilt mons, beneath a gilt band moulded with white bead ornament at the rim and above another at the lower part, the slightly waisted foot edged with a further band of bead ornament (upper rim with slight wear to gilding)
