Circa 1830, possibly Scottish
The bowl formed as a mask, the hair leaf-moulded, below a pinecone- pattern rim, enriched in green, dark pink and blue, the face naturalistically coloured (minor flaking); and a cream-coloured terracotta pipe-bowl, the oviform bowl supported by a sleeved hand
