Maker's mark F.D in rectangle, Naples, circa 1770
On four scroll feet, the circular holder openworked with grapes and vines, the centre with two parcel-gilt shells and a central openworked frame supporting an oval bowl the border openworked with flowers, garlands and ribbons, each later cut-glass baluster-shaped bottle on silver-mounted circular base, the silver-mounted neck with detachable silver cover with flower finial, marked on bottom of one of the holders
