Maker's mark GW in oval, possibly Gotha, circa 1710
On circular high raised base with swirling gadrooned and beaded border, the flat dish centred by an engraved coat-of-arms and dated 1710, the wide border with embossed and chased stylised foliate strapwork and shell ornaments, swirling gadrooned and shell outer rim, marked on foot and dish
