A pair of parcel-gilt Norwegian wedding beakers
Each apparently only struck with maker's mark, the largest struck four times for Thomas Cudrio Levin, Skien, first half 18th Century; the smaller one struck twice for Peder Olsen Bechman, Skien, first half 18th Century
Each of circular tapering form, on a domed circular foot, the largest beaker with beaded rim, allover engraved with scrolling foliage, the lower part of the body wiith an applied gilded band with three rings and three masks, the upper part with a applied gilded band with six wells, the smaller beaker with spirally fluted foot, a lower gilded band with applied masks and an upper gilded band withfour applied wells (one missing), the sides inscribed QOSH KHD 1773 and in an oval E.H.S. G.T.D. 1716, marked on base
