A fine jamawar 'moon' shawl, woven with staggered rows of boteh bearing blue and yellow flowers against a crimson ground, sprigged with small flowers, with a milles fleurs 'moon' cartouche to each corner, Kashmir, early 19th century, (reduced, with later burgundy end borders added)--81in. x 38in.
