An English poured-wax boy doll
with fixed blue glass eyes, closed mouth, inset blonde hair with side parting, hair eyebrows, wax lower limbs and original pink, green, blue, black, yellow and white striped satin frock and lace trim, matching sash, white cotton and wool undergarments and shoes, possibly a Montinari --17in. (43cm.) high (repair to neck)

Provenance
This doll was dressed by a Lady-in-waiting to Queen Victoria for sale at Crathie Church bazaar, circa 1868.

It is believed that this is a doll of Prince Albert Edward, later Edward VII.
