Circular, with gilt scalloped rim, with gilt and white scrolls on a lavender ground, the center with the initial 'A' surmounted by an Imperial crown, marked under the base

Lot Essay

Intended for the Farm Palace in the Alexandria Park in Peterhof. All the pieces were decorated with the monogram of the heir to the throne, the Grand Duke Alexander, the future Tsar Alexander II.
