Circa 1760
Quiver shaped, the body and cover chased with rocaille scrolls, flowers and foliage, and centering a cartouche of a warrior in front of an obelisk to one side and a maiden to the other, the hinged cover chased with putto and sphinxes, with loop handle, the velvet-clad interior fitted with a gold-mounted steel pen-knife, scissors, bodkin and steel earpick, apparently unmarked
