Mark of Gottfried Bartermann, Augsburg, 1751-53
Oval, on four pierced rocaille feet, the body repoussé and chased with floral garlands and centering two vacant rocaille cartouches, with scroll handles, the domed cover with conforming decoration and cast bird and branch finial, marked on base and cover bezel, also with later French control marks
