A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SAUCE BOATS
One London, 1767, apparently lacking maker's mark, the other London, 1768, maker's mark IB (Grimwade no. 3618)
Each on three hoof feet headed by leaves, the helmet-shaped body with gadrooned rim, with leaf-clad scroll handle, one side engraved with a jewel garter motto within rococo cartouche, the other side engraved with a Baron's coronet and garter, block initials E over S*R engraved under each base, marked under bases
8½in. (22cm.) long over handles; 26oz. 10dwt. (835gr.) (2)
