I am particularly deligthed that Philippe Castéja has kindly agreed to offer for sale wine pulled from the family cellar, the grapes being picked at the very moment my wine trade career started; it happened to be a good sturdy vintage, with long lasting Médocs and amenable Saint-Emilions. MB

Pauillac, 5me cru classé. Château-bottled
A consistently well made wine. Although many vintages tasted, including an excellent '55 and previous vintages, I seem to have no note of the '52. It's tannins will have contributed to it's longevity. MB
