FROM THE CHATEAU DE FESLES, THOUARCE
I have a particular soft spot for the lovely sweet wines from the Loire. Particularly boytritis affected Chenin Blancs from Vouvray, the Côteaux du Layon and Bonnezeaux.
Château de Fesles was built in the 11th century at the heart of the famous Bonnezeaux appellation and has been completely restored by Bernard Germain.

A superb wine, Glorious yellow gold; aroma of apricots and honey; sweet, plump, fleshy, delicious flavour and perfect acidity.
