A WELL-PRESENTED AND DETAILED WATERLINE SCALE MODEL OF THE UNION LINER SCOTT (1891)
modelled by E. Kilner Berry with masts, derricks, rigging, carved figurehead, anchors, deckrails, bollards, capstan, wash deflector, companionways, covered hatches, superstructure with navigation turrets, saloon lights, open bridge with wheel house, radio shack, two stayed funnels with safety valve extension pipes, sixteen covered lifeboats in davits, engine room lights and other details. The hull finished in white and red and set in a moulded and painted seascape within woodbound glazed case with notes and details dated '1951' on hte underside -- 9 x 25in. (23 x 63.5cm.)
