A 19TH CENTURY BUILDER'S HALF-MODEL OF A MERCHANTMAN
with three cutaway masts (one missing) and bowsprit, the hull planked and pinned with main and second wales, hawse pipe, head rails, simple figurehead black painted bulwarks and rudder, finished in white between the wales, green deck and gunwales, and varnish, mounted on a green-painted framed board for wall hanging -- 12½ x 39½in. (32 x 100cm.)
