Finely painted with a sublime nude nymph seated beside a steam dipping her foot in a pool, the apple-green border elaborately gilt with berried trailing vine

Nosek, was employed on a free-lance basis by both Lenox and Willets from 1903-1907. See lot 322 in the present sale for another example of his work on a Lenox blank of this period.
