A SÈVRES STYLE BISCUIT AND PARCEL-GILT BRONZE BUST OF MARIE ANTOINETTE
Late 19th century, spurious interlaced L's on underside of bust
After a bust by Wengmuller, half-turned to the right, her hair elaborately dressed with a ribbon and roses, wearing a bronze portrait medallion, her shoulders draped in a fur-lined cloak cast with fleur-de-lys, on a marble socle and square base
