CIRCA LATE 8TH/EARLY 7TH CENTURY B.C.
Decorated in chased relief with terminal panel of an archer with quiver taking aim with bow and arrow, standing on a leaping bull and surrounded by ribbed and dotted borders with square frieze of palmettes, the belt's broad panel in three registers of a hunting scene with columns of rampant lions, bulls, ibexes pursued by sirens with bow and arrows, between columns of concentric circle rosettes or circle and palmette squares, all within a double ribbed border with dots between, the edges pierced for lining, a riveted attachment loop at one end, repaired
