TWO ROMAN BRONZE CHARIOT FITTINGS WITH EAGLE HEAD TERMINALS CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
One with a tapering hexagonal shaft surmounted by an eagle's head, the shaft with hook in the form of a duck's head, incised naturalistic details, the shaft pierced twice at the base for attachment; and the other similar with cylindrical shaft, mouldings above and below, the eagle with feather details in relief, a round ball in its open beak
