MATURE BAROLOS FROM THE CELLARS OF FONTANAFREDDA
These rare Barolos have been released directly from the reserve cellars of Fontanafredda especially for this sale. All are of pristine appearance and are drawn from limited reserves remaining at the Estate, concentrating on the property's finest wines from the 1950's to 1990. The wines have a reputation for being somewhat austere and tannic in youth, thus contributing to their potential to age for half a century and more. The '58 and '74 recently tasted and showing really well with plenty of character and vitality remaining.

Lots 114 to 118 have all been recorked and recapsuled and have new labels. All in individual wooden cases
