A large Indo-Portuguese ivory and bone inlaid casket
19th Century
of rectangular shape with c-scroll carrying handles to the sides, the inlay with an overall openwork geometric design within wood inlaid borders, the hinged cover opening to reveal sectioned compartments, the front with flap opening to reveal nine drawers -- 20½in. (52.2cm.) wide, (minor restoration and splits).
