A Mughal brass lota
18th Century
the globular body with ribbed design below a band of lappets under the flaring neck, on a spreading foot -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high; and a similar brass lota decorated with various geometric bands between lappets, incised calligraphy to the foot -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high, (restoration to second piece).
