A small Persian brass magic bowl
17th Century
decorated to the interior with interlocking calligraphic panels, the exterior with a band of animal and figural roundels between calligraphy -- 5in. (12.7cm.) diam.; and a Syrian brass and silver inlaid bowl, decorated with shaped panels of entwined foliage and arabesques -- 5 5/8in. (14.3cm.) wide, (small hole to rim on first piece).
