A Qajar iron engraved and damascened kashkul
Signed Hajji Abbas, 19th Century
of typical coco-de-mer form, the top engraved with two dervishes seated amongst scrolling flowers flanked by two shaped calligraphic damascene cartouches, all above a further band of calligraphic panels, the underside with a central concentric cusped medallion and spandrels with damascened floral decoration, with attached hanging chain -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) long, (minor rubbing).
