A Syrian Pottery rounded bowl
14th century
with tapering sides and slightly inverted rim, painted to the interior with a large central flowerhead, the exterior with a band of flowers and scrolling foliage above vertical stripes -- 5¾in. (14.5cms) diam, (glaze degradation, irridescence and old wear).
