A pair of Nishapur footed pottery bowls
10th century
incised to the interiors with flowerhead and whorl designs, on streaked brown, green and cream grounds -- 5¼in. (13.4cms) diam, (rim chips); and a Kashan turquoise glazed flaring pottery bowl, incised to the interior with foliate and scroll work panels, the thick glaze running down the exterior, falling short of the foot -- 6 1/8in. (15.5cms) diam, chips, crackling and old wear).
