watercolour heightened with gold on paper, 2 depicting Punjab and Sikh rulers, shown in pairs and seated on European style chairs, mounted, framed and glazed, 4 views of buildings and monuments and 9 showing occupations, original brown tooled morocco binding with stamped decoration, central panels reserved with lyres amid symmetrical floral motifs, flower sprays in corner panels, marbled paper covered doublures -- 26 x 20.5cm. (folios loose, some trimmed).
