Compare the serrated petals painted on the interior of a similar bowl illustrated in Sekai Toji Zenshu, Shogakukan, 1981, p. 242, no. 2269; where it is illustrated together with two others, ibid., nos. 271 and 273. All three published bowls, as with the present example, are decorated with the characteristic triple-circle borders on the interiors.
