A RARE LARGE BRONZE HEXAGONAL FLUTED VASE
LATE MING DYNASTY, 16TH/17TH CENTURY
The faceted body raised on a conforming splayed foot, each facet gently concaved and chased with a floral diaper-ground, flanked on each side of the tall neck with a tubular hexagonal handle, the angular edges cast with a plain band imitating the mount, repeated in cross-section across the body, on the shoulder and the below the mouth rim, the base bearing the apocryphal six-character Xuande reign mark
