QING DYNASTY, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The compressed globular body is raised on three cabriole legs and flanked on the shoulders by a pair of loop handles naturalistically carved in the round as large peony blossoms surrounded by leaves and suspending loose rings, the cover surmounted by a sinuous dragon coiled upon itself, the stone of an even milky-white tone
