Note:
Xiaoyuan is Wu Xiaoyuan, husband of Madame Zhang Shuting, one of the first students of Zhang Daqian's Dafengtang in the 1930's. Mr. Wu worked for the Jincheng Bank and lived in Kunming. In 1938, both Zhang Daqian and his brother Zhang Shanzi stayed with Mr. Wu and his wife in Kunming at different times.
