AN ANTIQUE REDDISH BROWN PEARL AND DIAMOND BROOCH
The navette-shaped openwork panel with old mine-cut diamond scrolls, centrally set with a reddish brown pearl measuring approximately 9.90 - 10.70 mm., enhanced by diamond collets, suspending a drop-shaped reddish brown pearl measuring approximately 13.78 x 9.80 x 7.98 mm. in an old mine-cut diamond cluster surround, mounted in platinum and gold, circa 1890, 4.7 cm. wide, with French assay marks for platinum and gold
With certificate 38680 dated 12 February 2002 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that both pearls are natural and with no indications of artificial colour modification
