The smooth curved tube widening towards the opening, the narrow end terminated by a gilt merese and a double knop, the body applied with three pincered threads, further applied with two arched handles, the opening with a ring border (traces of gilding)

The use of horn-shaped vessels is probably of Germanic origin. They continued to be used on special occasions until the 17th century.
