A Tournai ornithological sugar bowl and cover
1763-1774 (seconde période), marked with two tiny gilt crossed swords and four stars
Painted in colours by Michel-Joseph Duvivier, the cylindrical body depicting a frontal vignette with a large turkey trotting near another bird on a rock flanked by foliage, to the back with a vignette en suite depicting three other birds with bright plumage, outlined with two gilt bands,the domed cover en suite with two birds and a tiny ladybird (coccinelle), with gilt acorn finial
