Marked with underglaze blue crossed swords, the group with Pressnummern 67019 and 1440, the cockatoes with 57a and 57b and 130= and 1040
Painted in colours and naturalistically modelled in relief, the sultan after a model by Johann Joachim Kändler and perhaps Peter Reinicke (1740-1750), depicting a sultan enthroned on a richly attired elephant, further with a blackamoor driver seated on its head, outlined in gilt, the cockatoes after a model by Johann Joachim Kändler (1734), with bright plumage, perched on a treetrunk
The group 26,8cm high; the cockatoes 25,7cm high
