The stepped side jambs with foliate paterea capitals, flanking a scroll and anthemion frieze with cornice supporting the plain shelf -- 70in. (178cm.) wide; 11½in. (29.2cm.) deep; the aperture -- 38¼in. (97.2cm.) high; 38in. (96.5cm.) wide
