A German silver teapot and similar hot-milk jug
Mark of Humbert & Sohn, Berlin, 1821-1841
Each melon-fluted, of slightly compressed circular form on fluted pedestal foot, the teapot with part-wood scroll handle, the hot-milk jug with ivory insulators, the hinged covers with detachable flower finial, the reeded and foliage-capped leaf spouts with cartouche, the teapot body and the hot-milk jug spout each engraved with FWR monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for King Friedrich Wilhelm III or IV, the spouts engraved C.K., marked on base, also engraved with scratchweight
