Mark of Johann George Hossauer, Berlin, 1821-1841
The vase on plinth with square base with acanthus foliage borders, the sides applied twice with the Imperial Prussian eagle within the Collar of the Order of the Black Eagle with medallion, the arms of Prussia impaling Saxony, and a presentation plaque within berried and ribbon-tied foliage garland, the detachable two-handled vase with partly-fluted stem and reeded, fluted and beaded borders with broad chased foliate scroll band, the two reeded handles with foliate terminals, fitted with wire-work flower mesh, marked on base

The translated inscription reads, To His Royal Highness Prince Wilhelm of Prussia from the Officer Corps of his Personal Regiment, the Infantry Regiment, with the Greatest Esteem.
