The sauce-boats, mark of D. Vollgold & Sohn, Berlin, 1881-1883, 900 standard, the ladles unmarked
The sauce-boats each shaped oval, with helmet-shaped spout and scroll rim, on shell and scroll bracket foot, the bifurcated scroll handle with foliate terminals, the body repoussé and chased with monogram WAV with Royal Prussian crown above for Prince Wilhelm and Princess Auguste Viktoria, the sides with scroll cartouches chased with floral garlands, marked on base, the ladles each with faceted stem and rocaille cartouche terminal engraved with similar monogram
