Mark of Hermann Julius Wilm, Berlin, dated 1901, 800 standard, the sauce-boats unmarked
Each shaped oval with reeded border, on four foliate scroll feet with cartouche terminals, repoussé and chased with rocaille, flowers and foliage, with bifurcated foliage-capped scroll handle, engraved with WR monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for Emperor Wilhelm II, with inventory numbers 125 and 129, with associated shaped oval stands with rocaille border and reed and foliage rim, similarly engraved, the base engraved with weight, date 1901, and inventory numbers 126 and 127, marked on stands
The sauce-boats, 8in. (20.5cm.) long, the stands, 9¾in. (24.5cm.) long
