The sauce-boat unmarked, presumably by Gebrüder Friedländer, Berlin, 1891, the stand, mark of Wilm, dated 1898, 800 standard
Shaped oval with reeded border, on four foliate scroll feet with cartouche terminals, repoussé and chased with rocaille, flowers and foliage, with bifurcated foliage-capped scroll handle, engraved with WR monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for Emperor Wilhelm II, with inventory number 49, with non-fitting shaped oval stands with rocaille border and reed and foliage rim, similarly engraved, the base engraved with weight, date 1898, and inventory number 88, marked on stand
