Oblong, the base and ring handle with moulded borders, engraved with presentation inscriptions to each side, one with Earl's coronet above, the other with the Imperial German crown, marked on side
10½in. (27.2cm.) long
37oz. (1,167gr.)
The inscription to one side reads, A humble offering to Their Imperial Majesties The German Emperor and Empress in commemoration of their Silver Wedding 1906.
The second inscription reads, From their Majesties' most grateful and humble Servants The Earl and Countess of Lonsdale.
