A pair of Victorian silver butter-dishes
Mark of William Hutton & Sons, London, 1898
Circular and on three reeded lion's paw supports with acanthus scroll terminals, the sides pierced with slats and chased with oval cartouches, hung between with ribbon-tied drapery swags, one cartocuhe engraved with WRI monogram with Imperial German crown above for Emperor Wilhelm II, marked on undersides, with blue glass liners (one repaired)
