A pair of German large silver nine-light candlebra
Mark of Gebrüder Friedländer, Berlin, dated 1895, 875 standard
Each on shaped square base with with bluster stem, the base cast and chased with shells, scrolls and foliate scrolls, the stem similarly cast and chased and with panels of wrigglework decoration on a matted ground, the detachable leaf-capped scroll branches in two tiers, each terminating in a foliage drip-pan and foliage socket, with similar central light, the bases applied with the W monogram with Royal Prussian crown above for Emperor Wilhelm II, marked on bases and engraved 'Gebr. Friedländer.' on each and 'Gew. Kg. 11,876' and 'Gew. Kg. 11,753'
