Giuseppe Giudelli is recorded as working as a scagliolista in Carpi in the 1740's and 1750's. His work is characterized by delicate floral trails, often on a white ground and with borders in imitation of embroidered textiles, as featured on a series of altar frontals by Guidelli in the church of Quattro Castella in Reggiano (see A. M. Massinelli, Scagliola L'Arte della Pietra di Luna, Rome, 1997, p. 108 and figs. 86-87b).
