Two blue and white ewers and covers
Late 17th/18th Century
A pear-shaped hexagonal ewer and cover decorated overall with panels enclosing flowering prunus stems, moulded to the lower body with a ruyi-head, the long curved spout and handle with cloud scrolls, finial repaired, glaze frittings, 17.5 cm. high; and a Japanese Arita ewer of hexagonal pear shape, painted with flowers in full bloom and karakusa scrolls, cover not matching, small crack to bracket, 21 cm. high (2)
