The central panel showing a man and woman in full gallop on horseback and armed with a bow and arrow and spear, chasing wild animals in flight, surrounded on the moulded well and barbed rim with stylised lotus scrollwork, three with Qi yu bao ding zhi zhen (Precious object of rare jade among treasured vessels) mark to the base, one repaired, rim crack and minute chips
