A Transitional blue and white ewer and a stemcup
The ewer mid 17th Century
Of ovoid form, painted with a continuous scene of two intellectuals seated in a garden listening to a musician playing the qin, below Iznik style tulips and foliate on the neck, glaze frittings and cracks, 22 cm. high; and a stemcup, supported on a high spreading base, the globular cup decorated with Shou roundels between stylised foliage scrolls, 14.3 cm. high (2)
