Chenghua six character mark, Kangxi
Painted to the exterior of the rounded sides with two scenes from the 'Romance of the Western Chamber', divided by two four-line inscriptions below a cracked-ice pattern band enriched with blossoms, the interior with a roundel enclosing three boys at play below a trellis-pattern border reserved with cartouches of peach, small rim chips
